Commission a portrait

Imago Dei is a portrait studio. The work on the home page is the work I make for clients: individuals, couples, and families.

Digital portraits painted with traditional oil methods — layered color, brushwork, and classical structure — delivered as a fine-art file (prints optional on request).

How it works

1. Send a few photos. Two or three clear, well-lit images, plus a note about who it is for and when you need it.
2. I quote, then we lock the plan. Size, number of subjects, composition, and a completion date — before any deposit.
3. Painting. You will see progress at the key stages. I take a limited number of commissions at a time.
4. Delivery. You receive a high-resolution fine-art file. Print or canvas options available on request.

Investment

Starting prices:

• Single subject — from $750
• Couple / two subjects — from $1,100
• Family (3–4 subjects) — from $1,600

Final quotes depend on size, background complexity, and timeline. You’ll get a clear number before you commit. A 50% deposit reserves your place; the balance is due before delivery.
